Pegasus World Cup Field Drawn

By Emily Shields

A full field of 12 runners has been entered in the Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) to take place Saturday at Gulfstream Park.

The $3 million contest lost one of its major players Wednesday just before entry time when True Timber was declared out of the race. The winner of the Cigar Mile (G1) had been training for this race when trainer Jack Sisterson noted he wasn’t 100%.

Last Judgement is the horse who was entered to take his place. The son of Congrats is coming off a win in the Sunshine Classic Stakes here just last Saturday. Mike Maker trains the five-year-old, who has won three of his last five starts. He was stakes placed here last year as well.
